to return your nervous system into 'rest and digest'
Hi, I’m Sarah. I’m an anxiety expert, somatic psychotherapist, counsellor, and dance-movement therapist based in Brisbane, Australia. Over the past 8 years, I’ve helped hundreds of people like you, calm their nervous system and reduce the uncomfortable physical symptoms of anxiety.
I’m passionate about this work because I’ve suffered from both anxiety and depression in the past. I know what worked for me and now I have the best job in the world, helping people get their lives back on track.
Normally I see clients 1:1 in my studio or video conferencing, but with the current high demand, I’m unable to see everyone who wants to come and see me. So I've created this short course of videos showing you the most effective techniques that I teach to my clients.
Obviously, it's not the same as coming to see me for therapy. This course is not intended to replace therapy. For example, this course is not going to help you understand why you are feeling anxious or delve into your patterns and beliefs. But I am giving you access to the best and techniques that I use every day with my clients so that you can practice them by yourself and make a difference to how you're feeling, without even stepping foot into a therapy room.
You can find out more about me here.

Sarah, your course was REAL, simple and useful. My biggest struggle was 'switching off' my overwhelming thoughts at night-time. So, I tested some of your techniques before bedtime, and my sleeping pattern has changed significantly. It is rare now to have nights of overthinking, frustration, panic & sleeplessness. You've highlighted how the power of breathing and simple movement can make a massive impact on everyday life - when you know how! Thank you for your humour and authenticity. You had me hooked at the first yawn!'

This course is brilliant! The course really helped me while I was going through a really tough week and having panic attacks, in particular the 'grounding with the 5 senses' video really helped me to come back into my body. I am a client of Sarah's and this course gave me the feeling that I had Sarah at home with me! She is the same warm and caring therapist in this online course as she is in person and I couldn't recommend it more.
The course content is fantastic, with both short and long videos offering great tools for anxiety, it felt like I had something to choose from for all sorts of situations.
There is no pressure or time frame to complete the course, you can go through the content in any order that you feel and the information given is simple to follow. Accompanied by Sarah's loving nature and professional expertise, it made me feel safe to connect and shift through my anxieties at home. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking for tools and support with their anxiety and mental health. Thank you so much Sarah.

Thank you Sarah for this simple and effective fun course. I struggle with feeling anxious a lot of the time. It can feel like a low hum, like background noise you get used to having.
I found the course showed me how easy it can be to feel better, quickly. And that I can do it for myself. I found the way you explained things easy to understand and to do and I'm doing more of it more often now. I'd definitely recommend it to people. Well worth doing. Thank you!
